Many of you mentioned that you can express surprise or shock with OMG and humour with LOL or ROFL when typing shorthand. Are these the only emotions or feelings that can be expressed using shorthand? If you know some more, please share them here.

There are probably other shorthand words that express emotions or feelings. But probably other people know different words using shorthand. I don't know very many shorthand words

No because lol or laugh out loud are the same. There is way more normal writing word that express emotions more than shorthand words. I don't know any more.-amar

Im not sure that there are more ways to express feelings in shorthand , like lol omg and rofl. If there are, i dont know any more. I think it must be said in proper words. Because shorthand is only for shortening SOME words, but not all of them.

sometimes some people put faces like (: and :( and (: would be like your calm either happy. Also :( would mean your sad or you feel bad for that person your talking to. there are a lot of other shorthand ways to describe your emotion, but those are just some. faces when you talk on like MSN or Facebook ect. that has emotions you can do they just actually have a face that will pop up itself.

there are many more shorthand words that help show emotion like wtf- what the fudge that could mean your angry or something doesn't make sense or you could use emoticons to show emotion or feelings like :'( would mean your sad :D means your happy <3 means love There are many different faces you could make using the keyboard that could express feelings or emotions

On MSN you can put a sad face and it usually expresses my feelings to the person I'm talking to.
ReplyDeleteAnd on Twitter they don't have those faces, so you have to use the long way. And I don't know anymore that express my feelings.
